Jim Lindsey opened Central Glass and Mirror on
NW 4th street in downtown Oklahoma City. Jim set
out to provide a complete line of glass products
and services to meet commercial, residential and
automotive consumer needs. He also knew that the
only way to set himself apart from the competition
was to focus on providing high quality products
and the highest quality service in our area. Seeing
a need for customer centered service, Jim made
this his priority.
Before long Jim realized that the majority of
growth in the metro area would be to the north
and northwest. After a short stay in a rented
building at the corner of Britton Rd. and N. Western,
Jim built the current facility at 232 W. Britton
Rd., just west of the Broadway Extension.
In December of 1992 the second generation, Tim
Lindsey, joined the Company. After receiving a
Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State University,
Tim spent two years gaining valuable business
experience in an unrelated industry, then returned
to Central Glass and officially took over the
business from Jim in 2005.
Tim
has continued his father’s vision of providing
customers with the highest quality products
and installation. Tim also has the same commitment
to our employees, customers and community.
